Cat followed her sister Jo into the sport in 2017 after hearing all about it constantly. Cat is also a keen horsewoman and enjoys sailing, beers after tournaments and knitting

Outside of buhurt Abi is a competitive Strongwoman who enjoys overhead lifts the most and pulling trucks.

Steph has always been around some kind of historical fighting to a degree, her family joined a viking re enactment society when she was three years old and she started training and fighting with steel weapons from the age of thirteen. She got into Buhurt when a couple of friends from the reenactment scene who were in the sport convinced her to give it a try, one session later and she was hooked! Outside of buhurt,Steph is still a viking re-enactor but also enjoys historical research, strength training and mountain biking
